It's anniversary time again. I can remember when we were married for 10 years and how long that seemed. It now seems like every time we turn around, we have added another notch to the belt. It is hard to believe that we have been married for 31 years. It is even harder to believe that we have two grown children with families of their own. How time travels swiftly.
This year, we took off, on our own, for a weekend get-a-way to San Antonio. We did all the usual stuff. We walked the River Walk and then rode the boat down the River Walk. We ate at the Cafe' Ole' on the River Walk and listened to the beautiful music in the square on the River Walk just outside the Marriott we were staying at. The weather was perfect...we didn't even need a jacket. It wasn't crowded...probably folks were expected the cold front that hadn't yet arrived.
Craig and I were able to spend a few short hours just relaxing...an event that doesn't happen often. We had a great adventure and wonderful memories to hold onto for another year.
